Each year, our chapter awards a scholarship to a graduate student entering PT, OT, or Speech Therapy programs. Selection is based on commitment to serving the community and advancing mobility for all.



National AMBUCS Scholarships

Frequently Asked Questions
Statesboro AMBUCS will award a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a student pursuing a graduate degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
Students must be U.S. citizens accepted in a graduate-level program that is accredited by the appropriate therapy profession authority in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
Assistant or undergraduate programs are not eligible.
Awards are based on commitment to the local community, character for compassion and integrity, academic excellence, and career objectives.
Students must be from Bulloch, Candler, Evans, Jenkins, Screven, Tattnall, or Toombs County or are currently enrolled in Georgia Southern University’s speech pathology or physical therapy graduate program.
Students must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average.
No. Assistant or undergraduate programs are not eligible.
